"DRM details were easy to spot"
I appreciated that the DRM info was laid out clearly, so I knew upfront what was locked and what wasn’t. I really don’t like finding out after buying that I’ve lost access or can’t use something the way I expected, so this helped me avoid any unpleasant surprises.

"Account settings work, but the whole thing feels clunky"
My Kobo.com account settings are mostly okay, but the experience is a bit more frustrating than it should be. I can update my info and check my purchases, but some options feel buried, and I had to click around more than expected just to find basic settings.
I also had to reset my password once, and it took longer than it really should have. It was not a total disaster, but it was annoying enough that I feel like Kobo.com should offer some kind of credit or compensation for the hassle. It works in the end, but it could definitely be smoother.

"Decent discounts once in a while"
The promos do work sometimes, which is nice, but the really good discounts don’t come around that often. Anyway... it’s not a bad experience overall, I just wish the deals were a bit better and more consistent

"I asked for a refund and ended..."
I asked for a refund and ended up having to follow up with support twice before anything actually happened. I did get the money back eventually, but the whole process was frustrating. The email replies felt like they were coming from robots too, which made it even more annoying when I was just trying to get a simple update.
"Good app, but takes a little effort sometimes"
I use the Kobo.com app most nights and overall it works well. Pages turn smoothly and the syncing is usually fine, so I don’t have many big complaints there. The only thing is that some of the menus feel a bit tucked away, so I end up tapping around more than I’d like just to find what I need. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it does make simple stuff feel like more effort than it should be

"Ebooks really shouldn’t cost this much"
I don’t understand why ebooks are priced so high these days. Since there’s no printing, shipping, or physical copy involved, I kind of expected them to be a lot more affordable. I still like the convenience of reading digitally, but the prices make it hard to justify buying as many as I’d like.

"Touchscreen is okay, but I’m not totally convinced"
It works fine for the most part, but the touch response lags sometimes. It’s not a huge issue, but it does make me wonder a bit about the overall quality

"Easy to use, even when I was mentally drained"
I was feeling mentally drained when I used Kobo.com, so I really appreciated how easy it was to get around. I found the books I wanted quickly, the menus actually made sense, and the search worked well without any hassle. Checkout was straightforward too, and I never felt lost. Overall, it was a smooth and simple experience...

"Shipping felt a bit slow to me"
Maybe I was just being impatient, but the delivery took longer than I expected. My kobo did arrive in good condition though, so in the end it was okay.

"Audiobooks are kinda hit or miss"
I like the idea of the app, but the audiobook selection feels limited right now. Some titles are great, but I just wish there were way more audiobooks to choose from.

"Checkout was a mess"
I tried to buy an ebook, but the payment kept failing without any real explanation. The frustrating part is it looks like I may have been charged, but there’s no update or confirmation anywhere, so I have no idea what’s going on. Support wasn’t helpful at all, and after wasting way too much time on it, I just gave up.

"Really good for notes and highlights"
I mostly use Kobo for study books, so the highlighting thing is kind of a big deal for me. And yeah, it works really well. I can mark a line, leave a quick note, then find it again later without doing that whole... where did I put that part, you know?
The syncing has been fine too. I’ll switch devices and my notes are just there, which is basically all I wanted. Nothing too fancy or overcomplicated, just useful. Happy with Kobo.com overall.

"Library syncing is honestly so easy"
I’ve been using my kobo with my local library, the sync has been way smoother than I expected. I borrowed a book on my phone, kind of wondered if I’d have to fiddle with anything, and then it just showed up on my kobo quickly. No cables, no weird extra steps, no digging around trying to figure out where the book went. It just works, which sounds simple, but it makes reading library books so much less of a hassle.
"Stuck Waiting and Still No Help"
I reached out to support and ended up just sitting in the queue forever. After waiting days, I still never got a real response from anyone. Frustrating when you just need a simple answer.

"Freezes way too often"
My Kobo has been frustrating so far. It’s slow, freezes when I’m turning pages, and the battery seems to drain faster than I expected. Syncing randomly fails too, which makes it even more annoying since I got this to use every day. Just not
"Downloads are usually reliable, but support made me feel brushed off"
I use kobo.com mostly for ebooks, and to be fair, the downloads have usually been solid. Most books show up on my device quickly after I buy them. I did have one delay where a book didn’t appear right away, and when I looked into it, I kind of felt dismissed instead of actually helped. It ended up fixing itself after I synced again, so it wasn’t a huge deal, but it still left a bit of a bad taste. Overall, the downloads are dependable, just not perfect

"Worth it if you read often"
I’ve had the Kobo.com subscription for a few months now, it’s been a good deal for me. I wasn’t totally sure at first if I’d use it enough, but this has ended up being one of those things I actually do use all the time.
I mostly read at night, so it’s nice being able to just grab something and start reading without thinking about buying every single book. Not everything I look up is included, which is a little annoying here and there, but there’s still a lot of this and that to choose from.
For the price, I feel like I’m getting my money’s worth. It’s easy enough to keep or cancel, and I haven’t really had any major issues with it so far. Happy with it overall, 5 stars from me.
"Easy on the eyes, especially at night"
I mainly bought this for reading at night, the screen has been really nice to use. The text is clear and sharp, and I don’t feel that eye strain I’ve had with other screens. Adjusting the brightness is simple too, which feels like a basic thing every device should get right. My only complaint is that it can be a little slow sometimes, but overall it’s been a good choice for comfortable reading.

"Couldn’t Use It With My Files"
I was hoping this would work for what I needed, but... yeah, it just doesn’t support the file formats I use. Frustrating, honestly. The format support feels really limited.

"I was really hoping to like my..."
I was really hoping to like my kobo, but I’m disappointed. The screen feels kind of cheap, and it freezes more than I expected. The buttons don’t feel very solid either, which makes the whole thing feel a bit low-quality...
